Last night I headed off to Chelsea, dahling.
It took me forever to get to the event purely because I kept stopping in my tracks to take pictures of pretty shop fronts, the sun glimmering between the trees and cute sausage dogs. Everything just looks more beautiful in SW1. FACT.
I was in the swish neighbourhood to attend the launch of Pampelone x Claire Menary. You’ve all probably heard of Pampelone … or you’ve definitely seen it on the ‘gram.
I’m obsessed … who doesn’t love stylish beach wear? I’ve known the founder, Holly Anna Scarsella, for years – back when she was a publicist and I remember telling her she looked just like Elena from The Vampire Diaries. She does!
ANYWAY, now she’s a bonafide girlboss running her own super successful clothing brand, and she even made it on the Forbes 30 under 30 list. Nice work! But what’s more – Pampelone is growing, and fast! And ‘Planet Pampelone’ is doing more and more ‘EXTRA’ stuff. First we had a sunglasses collab and now, well, Holly has teamed up with another Instagram mega babe – Claire Menary.
Claire is a photographer/influencer, and she’s a lovely girl. We met over a year ago at a swish press event at Soho Farmhouse, and I remember being ever-so-slightly jealous (READ: VERY JEALOUS) of her glam life – being flown around the world to take photos. And that’s what has happened with this collaboration – Claire flew to the source of Pampelone’s inspiration, the Amalfi Coast, to take some stunning imagery. She took hundreds of photos and she and Holly whittled it down to five amazing shots to sell on the Pampelone website. I literally can’t pick a favourite, they’re all gorge.
And you can buy one for £75 – who wouldn’t love a stunning print for the lounge or the office. I also think it would make a gorge present. Anyway, I just love supporting kick-ass ladies.
And talking of kick-ass gals, something else happened at the event – I met an Instagram friend. How great is that?! You forget about how small this Insta world is and I got to come face-to-face with Carrie Elizabeth in the flesh.
Carrie, who I was introduced to on the ‘gram by my friend Kelle Crisp at Accessorize, has her own jewellery business, and I love her designs. In fact, when I met her I was even wearing my Carrie Elizabeth earrings and matching ring.
I left the event feeling very proud for those three – all living their best life as entrepreneurs. Go girls! And P.S. You’ll be pleased to know I made it home on time for Love Island – but not before I had a little pose on the amazing Pampelone Vespa! When in Chelsea ‘n all that…
The prints… Too stylish for Earlsdon ?..
